The little girl then slid off the edge of the terrace, but luckily Mr. Dong caught the girl before she landed on the sidewalk.
The child was taken to hospital following the incident. According SCMPshe injured her legs and lungs but is now in stable condition.
“To be honest, I don’t remember the details. I don’t remember if my arms hurt or anything. It was just instinctive to reach out to him,” Mr. Dong said according to the point. He also added that the child survived because the deck she fell on included steel roofing material, which cushioned the fall.
